Former Oregon Duck Traeshon Holden makes impressive one-handed TD catch for Dallas Cowboys
Let's face it. The Dallas Cowboys could use all the help they can get these days.
They might have found some help in the receiver spot with former OregonDucks receiver Traeshon Holden. Although he went undrafted and signed with the Cowboys as a free agent, Holden is making a strong case for a roster spot for the 2025 season.
And making a catch like this won't hurt his argument any.
Holden, wearing No. 7, juked a defender and found his way into the back of the end zone, where he leapt in the air and brought down a pass with one hand for the touchdown. It's the kind of play that will turn some heads, and Holden will most likely get a longer look from coaches now.
With the NFL preseason upon us, look for Holden to see some playing time in the Cowboys' four exhibition games in August with the hopes of making the 53-man roster for the season.
Even if Dallas decides Holden is not for them, another team could very easily call Holden on the cell phone, wanting him to suit up for their club.
