Four local players named to NDHSCA Class B All-State Baseball team

Jun. 5—JAMESTOWN — The North Dakota High School Coaches Association has officially unveiled the 2025 Class B All-State Baseball team.

In total, four players were named to either the All-State first and second teams. The two players named to the first team were South Border junior Berkley Frantz and LaMoure/Litchville-Marion/Edgeley junior Gunner Thielges. The two players named to the second team were New Rockford-Sheyenne sophomore Thomas Allmaras and the Loboes sophomore Colby Thielges.

This season, Frantz hit .405 with three home runs and 20 RBIs while going 12-for-12 in stolen bases. He also led his team with 23.2 innings pitched where he went 1-2 with a 7.09 ERA.

Gunner Thielges hit .488 with two triples, 12 RBIs and 11 stolen bases. On the mound, Thielges went 1-1 with a 4.08 ERA.

The Rockets' Allmaras hit .494 with 11 doubles, four triples and 20 RBIs while adding 12 stolen bases. The junior went 25.1 innings compiling a 9-2 record with a 4.14 ERA.

Colby Thielges hit .439 with 14 RBIs and nine walks and 14 stolen bases. He also pitched 23.0 innings with a 3-0 record and a 2.43 ERA.
