Get to know Ohio State running back James Peoples from him being mic'd up at practice
With all of the NFL departures from last season and with several new coaches after losing a lot of pieces after the memorable College Football Playoff national championship run, Buckeye fans will have to get to know some new faces this year.
One of those instances involves the backfield for the Buckeyes. Last season saw TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins combine to create havoc on opposing defenses as arguably the best running back tandem in the country and in the team picture for the best in Ohio State history. However, after both were selected in the 2025 NFL draft, there's not much production and experience behind the duo to step in.
That's where James Peoples comes in. He should be primed to either be the starter or part of a split-carry situation with West Virginia transfer CJ Donaldson. Either way, OSU fans will want to get to know Peoples, and what better way to do that than to listen to Peoples mic'd up at one of the fall practices. Get a look below and get to know his personality a little bit.

Here's to hoping that Peoples' highlights against Texas on Aug. 30 are just as entertaining as what he is during a mic'd up experience at practice wearing the scarlet and gray. If so, the Buckeyes have a good chance of walking out of the 'Shoe with a win.
