The New York Giants likely would've loved to bring Wan'Dale Robinson back in free agency.
In the end, though, the star slot receiver signed with the Tennessee Titans as part of their free agent spending spree.
Turns out, the Giants were close.
Robinson revealed in his introductory press conference with the Titans that his choice came down to Tennessee or New York.
He chose to land closer to home.
Wan’Dale Robinson says it ultimately came down to New York or Tennessee.

Robinson's decision is also, whether he means it or not, a statement on two spots on the organizational hierarchy, too.
First is quarterback. In New York, he had Jaxson Dart. Now, he joins Cam Ward with the Titans.
And then there's the Brian Daboll factor. The fired Giants head coach from last season is the Titans' new offensive coordinator. This move would imply that Robinson is a fan of Daboll.
It leaves the Giants potentially one playmaker short as they try to maximize the John Harbaugh era with Dart going into his second season.
Robinson has a chance to thrive in Tennessee, and if that happens, it'll be particularly painful for Giants fans.
