Apr. 18—SAN ANGELO — The Permian softball team clinched a playoff spot with a 7-1 win against San Angelo Central Thursday on the road.
The Lady Panthers finished the regular season at 17-14-1 overall, 4-6 in District 2-6A.
San Angelo Central (13-18, 3-7) finished fifth in the standings.
Up next is the bi-district with the opponents and dates yet to be determined.
