How many Jacksonville Jaguars on list of NFL's top 100 players for 2025 season?

Pete Prisco of CBS Sports put together his list of the top 100 NFL players heading into the 2025 NFL season, and included were two members of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Coming in at No. 44 in Prisco's rankings were wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr., and at No. 76 was defensive end Josh Hines-Allen.

Thomas put together an incredibly rookie season, totaling the third-most receiving yards of any wideout in the NFL. As heavily involved as Thomas was at making this Jaguars' offense go last season, his role is going to expand in Year 2.

Within Liam Coen's offense, we are going to see more of Thomas lining up in the slot and attacking other levels of the field and doing so in a variety of ways with his combination of route running, size, and speed.

This can then create additional ways to get the ball into Thomas' hands and his teammates will benefit as well with the attention he draws and mismatches he can help create.

"He's smooth," Jourdan Lewis said of Thomas. "He's very smooth, man. For his size, he gets in and out of his breaks really quickly. I think he's one of the top guys that I've ever guarded, honestly, and I feel like he can get better. He's a very young guy, I feel like sky's the limit for him."

Last season's production for Hines-Allen didn't match what we saw from him in 2023, but he was still highly productive. His 63 quarterback pressures were the 10th-most in football among his position group, and he ranked 16th in PFF's pass rush win rate as well.

One noticeable change that Hines-Allen has made this offseason in Anthony Campanile's new defense is that he's dropped some of the weight that he was asked to put on in previous years.

"I was 285," Hines-Allen said of his playing weight last season. "I was much bigger. My mindset was always to be as dominant but it was, obviously, holding a little bit more weight puts a little more wear and tear on the body.

"It was a lot. Too much. Again, learned to adapt, have know what works best for you, something I tried, and something I'm like, alright, probably don't want to do that again. So we're working on maintaining a good goal for me this year and put some good tape out there."
