Rutgers had a very difficult season, with a young team and very few returning players from their 2024-25 team (14.4% of scoring returned). In a sharp contrast to Rutgers, Creighton is led by a big senior guard duo with Josh Dix at 6-foot-5 and Nik Graves at 6-foot-3. This season, Dix scored 13 points per game while Graves averaged 10.5 points and 4.3 assists. Creighton’s last game was the Big East Quarterfinal on March 12th, where they were defeated 72-61 by Seton Hall. Dix and Graves held up their end of the bargain, combining for 37 points, nine assists, and two steals, but Creighton shot just 33.3% as a team in the loss.
