How to submit candidates and vote for the Delmarva Now Athlete of the Week this season

The local high school sports season is just days away from kicking off. And every week this season, fans across Delmarva will have the chance to vote for the Delmarva Now Athlete of the Week.
Nominees are selected based on their performances over the previous week, and nominations must be submitted by Sunday at 8 p.m. Anyone can submit a candidate for consideration by emailing abranch@delmarvanow.com. You must email the athlete's name, school, sport and stats from that week.
Voting will open each Monday morning and close each Wednesday at 3 p.m. A breakdown of each athlete's week will be available.
Votes will only be counted from the provided poll. Do not email your vote.
