Indiana football moves up in US LMB Coaches Poll; where is it ranked?
BLOOMINGTON — Indiana football moved back into the top 20 in the latest US LMB Coaches Poll after a 56-9 win over Kennesaw State on Saturday.
The Hoosiers jumped two spots to No. 19 and moved up one spot in the latest AP Poll to No. 22.
There were four teams in the top 25 that lost last week — Michigan, Arizona State, Florida, SMU — with the Wolverines and Sun Devils falling outside the top 20. There are multiple matchups in Week 3 between ranked teams with No. 3 Georgia facing No. 15 Tennessee and No. 8 Notre Dame playing No. 17 Texas A&M.
Indiana will face an Indiana State (1-0) on Friday night that had an off week after beating McKendree 41-24 in its season opener. The Hoosiers are 6-0 all-time against their in-state foe with their most recent win coming at Memorial Stadium in 2023.
