Iowa State star Audi Crooks reportedly entering transfer portal
One of the biggest names in college basketball is ready for a change of scenery. Iowa State star Audi Crooks — who ranks second in the nation in scoring — is reportedly entering the transfer portal, per ESPN.
Crooks, 21, led the Big 12 in field-goal percentage and points per game this season. She entered the season as an All-American, the second-straight year in which she received that honor.

The nation's No. 2 scorer, and one of the most prominent faces in the sport, is on the market. The biggest name in the portal to date. pic.twitter.com/ljayM8yRch— Alexa Philippou (@alexaphilippou) April 2, 2026
While Crooks turned in a dominant junior year, averaging 25.8 points and 7.7 rebounds, Iowa State couldn’t advance past the first round of the NCAA tournament. After going 22-10 and earning a No. 8 seed in the tournament, the Cyclones lost to No. 9 seed Syracuse in the first round.
Crooks should draw plenty of interest on the market, as she’s been a dominant scoring force since she first took the court. After averaging 19.2 points as a freshman, Crooks has seen her scoring average rise in each season. She managed to jump up to 25.8 points as a junior, trailing only Vanderbilt’s Mikayla Blakes for the highest scoring average in women’s college basketball this season.
