Is Travis Kelce about to play his last home game with the Chiefs?

For the first time since 2014, the Chiefs know when their season is going to end. And on Thursday, Kansas City will play its final 2025 game at Arrowhead Stadium, finishing off their home slate against the Broncos.

But it could also be an especially emotional game for tight end Travis Kelce.

Kelce — who was already facing retirement questions last year — opted to return for the 2025 season and at least play out the final year of his contract. And though this has been a solid bounce-back season personally for the 36-year-old tight end, it's very apparent that Thursday could be the final home game of his professional football career.

Head coach Andy Reid was asked about that possibility this week. While Reid didn't know which way Kelce was leaning, he offered plenty of praise for the future Hall of Fame tight end.

If Kelce does decide to hang it up, he would have already caught his final pass from Patrick Mahomes who tore his ACL in Week 15.

Kelce will enter the offseason as an unrestricted free agent should he opt to continue his career. His postgame reaction should be awfully telling of which way he's leaning.
