Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua is only a few days away, with the YouTube star and the former two-time unified heavyweight champion facing off in the ring on Friday, Dec. 19.

The eight-round heavyweight bout, titled "Judgment Day," is set to take place at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, and will be globally streamed live on Netflix.

But, before the two strap on the gloves, expect some verbal jabs on Wednesday night at the fight press conference. The atmosphere is already thick with tension, as this is arguably the biggest step in Paul's  boxing career. He enters the ring as the heavy underdog against a former Olympic gold medalist and a proven world-class heavyweight with devastating knockout power.

Expect fireworks on Wednesday night as the two sit next to one another for the first time.

6:51 p.m.: When asked how Friday night will go, Joshua said he's looking forward to everything.

He said he watched "The Last Dance" and now the fight is "Jordan vs. Iverson in boxing."

6:48 p.m.: Two of Paul's opponents, Tyron Woodley and Anderson Silva, are also fighting on Friday night.

When asked about whether Paul can beat Joshua, Woodley said it's a good fight. He also took a moment to say fighting Silva is a step up for him.

6:46 p.m.: Paul confirms that the fight will be in a 22-by-22 foot ring and he feels great about it. Joshua had no issues with the dimensions at all.

6:41 p.m.: Joshua said that one of the reasons he wanted to take the fight was to be on Netflix and "showcase my skills to the world."

He gave his respect to everyone on the call, saying it's an amazing chance for all fighters to showcase their skills.

6:40 p.m.: "I still want to become world champion at the end of the day," Paul says. "Most likely cruiserweight, but you never know. I couldn't imagine myself five years ago sitting here today."

6:37 p.m.: Paul says "if people really cared about boxing, they'd want me to win." He went on to say he's more important to the sport.

He said he understands why people would root for Joshua, as the traditionalist.

6:31 p.m.: When asked to clarify his "if I can kill him, I will kill him" comments from yesterday, Joshua said that "it's his job."

Paul responds with "Let's f***ing go ... let's f***ing kill each other."

6:30 p.m.: In Joshua's opening statement, he says that he is in a good place returning to the ring. 

Paul said that the fight "will be the biggest loss of his career," saying he knows Joshua's nerves will kick in when he sees what Paul can do.

6:28 p.m.: Here comes Jake Paul.

Friday will be the fighter's biggest test of his career, coming against a former heavyweight champion that is much taller and weighs much more.

For the doubters, as Paul said, "just watch."

6:26 p.m.: Anthony Joshua has arrived.

The Olympic gold-medalist and former two-time heavyweight champion comes to Miami for his first fight since September 2024.

He is seated right next to Helwani.

6:15 p.m.: With Ariel Helwani on the podium, fighters are starting to make their entrances.

6:10 p.m.: The press conference has officially gotten underway on YouTube. The fighters will make their entrances soon.
