Bam Adebayo activated a viral onslaught of different opinions with his 83-point explosion against the Washington Wizards this week. Some people praised Adebayo for the historic performance, while others took a hater approach and argued that Adebayo achieved the milestone in cheap fashion, mostly due to his 40-plus attempts at the free throw stripe.

Boston Celtics superstar Jaylen Brown doesn't really vibe with the criticisms against Adebayo. JB said as much on Friday and backed Bam's record-breaking performance. Brown also asserted that the Wizards deserve some criticism for allowing Bam to go off the way that he did.

"Records are meant to be broken," Brown said while streaming on Twitch.

"I think two things can be true. You can look at the facet in which it was broken and complain, and you can also just acknowledge the fact that Bam Adebayo was having a great game and he did exactly what he was supposed to do. I don't see why there needs to be any criticism. If anybody deserves the criticism, it's the Washington Wizards."

Brown and the Celtics will face those Wizards on Saturday at TD Garden.
