J.J. Watt made normal-sized Ian Eagle look comically small

It's not really surprising or news to realize that a professional football player — former or active — is probably much larger than your normal-sized human being. You're talking about some of the most athletic people on the planet compared to your average Joe or Jill. It's common sense, dearest readers.
Even still, it was quite jarring seeing J.J. Watt make his CBS NFL broadcast partner, Ian Eagle, look so small during the Pittsburgh Steelers' and New York Jets' Week 1 matchup. It's just not something you see every day.
In a quick side-by-side of Watt and Eagle in Watt's pro football announcing debut, the 6-foot-5 Watt makes Eagle, who has a decidedly ordinary stature for a bog-standard adult man, look comically small. The size disparity between the two was so stark that Eagle made a perfect joke about Watt and himself switching blazers at halftime as everyone noticed the disparity:

The returns are early, but on top of this comedy, Watt seems to have good broadcast chops. It undoubtedly helps that he already clearly has so much chemistry with Eagle. If you can riff with your partner, then everyone will enjoy your commentary. We can't wait to see how this partnership develops for CBS's new No. 2 NFL announcing team.
