Latest Update On Anthony Edwards’ Return Timeline

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards will miss Games 1 & 2 of their Western Conference playoff series against the San Antonio Spurs, but could return as soon as Game 3 on Friday in Minnesota, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
If Edwards does not return for Game 3, he’s a possibility for Game 4 on Sunday in Minnesota, ESPN reported.
Edwards suffered a bone bruise and hyperextension in his left knee in Game 4 of their series against the Denver Nuggets. The Timberwolves also lost guard Donte DiVincenzo to a torn Achilles in that series.
The wimberwolves won the regular-season series 2-1 against the Spurs. Minnesota won the first two matchups before San Antonio won the final game in January
A four-time NBA All-Star, Edwards is averaging 28.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists on the season.
