Lions among NFL teams Alabama OT Kadyn Proctor has spent time with
With the 2026 NFL draft barreling down upon us, final reports are trickling out from across the league.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on Wednesday that Alabama offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor just took a Top 30 visit to the San Francisco 49ers. Rapoport also included the Detroit Lions among the handful of other teams that Proctor has spent time with.
The Lions joined the Chiefs, Browns, Dolphins, Eagles and Cardinals as teams that Proctor has spent time with ahead of next Thursday night's first round of the 2026 NFL draft.

It's not the first time that the Lions have been linked to the former Alabama star throughout the pre-draft process. Detroit reportedly pulled Proctor aside to chat back in January during the East-West Shrine Bowl.
The Lions then met with Proctor at the NFL Scouting Combine.
It's easy to understand why the Lions would be interested. At 6-foot-7, 352 pound with an arm length of 33 3/8 inches, Proctor is an absolute specimen. And, of course, the Lions have a need at offensive tackle after releasing Taylor Decker.
The Cardinals, Browns and Chiefs all own top-10 NFL draft picks, while the Dolphins will select just outside the top 10 at pick No. 11.
If none of the those franchises pick Proctor, the Lions should be able to get their man at No. 17 with the Eagles slotted at pick No. 23 and the 49ers set to draft at No. 27.
