Martella's Pharmacy wallops Laurel Auto Group in Game 1 of JCBL series

After building a six-run lead after two innings, Martella’s Pharmacy busted out for seven runs in the third to bury Laurel Auto Group 15-1 in seven innings at Roxbury Park.

Boden Fernsler and Owen McDermott each swatted home runs for Martella’s Pharmacy, which took a 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series. Diego Santos collected two hits and three RBIs, while Jack Messina scored three times.

Jack Pletcher fanned six over five innings to earn the win on the mound.

Martella’s Pharmacy, which posted seven hits, worked 11 walks out of Laurel Auto Group pitching.
