Monaco trio Denis Zakaria, Mika Biereth, and Jordan Teze doubts to face PSG
Denis Zakaria, Jordan Teze, and Mika Biereth were all absent from AS Monaco’s training session, attended by Get French Football News, on Wednesday. The three players are doubts to face Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes on Friday, Sébastien Pocognoli has confirmed.
Monaco continue to manage Zakaria so as to avoid a flare-up of an old injury. Teze’s absence was also a question of management. Like the club captain, he worked in the gym instead of training with his teammates on Wednesday morning. Pocognoli said that the Dutchman is in need of some relief, given the minutes that he has played so far this season.
Dier nearing Monaco return
Biereth, however, did not train at all. The Denmark international is currently ill and so is in a race to return to health ahead of the game at the Parc des Princes. There won’t be any other returnees to face Les Parisiens. Even if Lukas Hradecky is once again training with the first team, his return is still about a fortnight away, Pocognoli said.
Eric Dier, who also worked in the gym today, Kassoum Ouattara, and Pape Cabral are all nearing returns but will not face PSG.
