NFL Week 11 plug & play, last-minute sleeper picks
I hope that you're near the top in your fantasy football league by now, because if not, it may be too late. You should have clinched a playoff spot, or you will soon clinch one after Week 11 in your leagues. The holiday season means happiness, joy, and forgiveness, unless you're a fantasy football manager, and in that case, it can mean complete stress and anxiety. Do not fret, though. Let's look at a few plug-and-play sleepers that you can insert into your lineup to ease your mind come playoff time, because it's coming quick!
Geno Smith (QB), Las Vegas Raiders vs. Dallas Cowboys,
This year has not been good for Geno Smith, to say the least: the win/loss record, the picks, all of it. But, Smith will take on the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, and they just made Jacoby Brissett look like a sure-fire Hall of Famer. Geno Smith is capable of putting up a big game, and while I am not saying that he is a QB1 this week, if you need a QB who should put up some good points, plug Geno in. He is due, and this would be the time to get back on track.
Christian Watson (WR), Green Bay Packers at New York Giants
Christian Watson returned to the Packers in Week 8, and since then, he has been the most productive. The New York Giants have been on a slippery slope, surrendering fourth-quarter leads and giving up tons of yards and catches to opposing wide receivers. It just feels right this week with a bunch of injuries at the pass-catching positions to plug in Watson to help your team.
Calvin Austin (WR), Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals
Sticking with the unorthodox theme of players who may not be rostered highly, the Steelers' wide receiver Calvin Austin. Austin has had 19 targets after returning from injury three games ago. The Bengals' defense hasn't been good at all, and the Steelers need a win more than ever. I do believe that Austin will find the end zone in this one.
