NFL world reacts to Bears beatdown on Cowboys

The Chicago Bears looked like a dead team walking just one week ago against the Detroit Lions. Seven days later, they beat the brakes off the Dallas Cowboys to earn their first win under head coach Ben Johnson. The Bears defeated the Cowboys 31-14 to improve to 1-2 while silencing the concerns of many fans after an 0-2 start. Quarterback Caleb Williams had the best game of his career, completing 19-of-28 passes for 298 yards and four touchdowns. More importantly, he didn't commit a turnover and wasn't sacked once—the first time that's happened in his career.

Williams showed off in front of his former coach Matt Eberflus, who is the Cowboys' defensive coordinator, and carved up the Dallas defense with ease. The Bears defense, meanwhile, created three takeaways, two of which came in the red zone, to preserve the victory.

The win was much needed for not only the Bears team but also their fans. Many believed the sky was falling following their 52-21 loss against the Lions. Now, the monkey is off their back, as most of the country was able to see a quality win. Here is how social media reacted to the game:
