Ohio State softball announces summer elite camp dates
It's summer, and while that means college athletics take a bit of a hiatus because the athletic and academic calendars align, it does mean that summer camps are underway for youth and prospects that want to get some good coaching and establish relationships with college coaches. It all helps make a player better and starts or continues relationship building in recruiting.
One of the fastest-growing sports in popularity is softball, and the Ohio State program just capped off a great momentum-building season under new head coach Kirin Kumar. Now, if you have a young lady who wants to get in front of the OSU coaches and receive some good direction and coaching, you can do so. The Buckeye softball program just released information on its summer camps, and it's open to those that are age appropriate to join.
According to the announcement and release, Ohio State will hold three elite summer camps at three different times. The first will be June 23 and 24, July 14 and 15, and August 23 and 24. The elite camps are typically for a higher level of skill and include graduation years 2025 to 2029.
