Scottie Scheffler is showing no signs of slowing down at the 2025 Travelers Championship. After an electrifying start with a  62 on Thursday, the World No. 1 followed up with a steady 69 on Friday, keeping himself locked in a three-way tie at the top of the leaderboard at 9-under. 

Now heading into the weekend, Scheffler shares the lead with Justin Thomas and Tommy Fleetwood. But aside from his stellar golf, there’s another reason to celebrate: Saturday marks Scheffler’s 29th birthday.

To honor the occasion, the PGA Tour gave Scheffler a personal shout-out on social media. 

Sharing a clip titled, “Career-best shots for the birthday boy, Scottie Scheffler 🎂”, the PGA Tour made sure fans remembered not just his birthday, but the highlights of his dominant career. 

Scheffler is putting together an impressive resume with 16 PGA Tour wins, three major titles, and even an Olympic gold medal.

The star golfer has been receiving plenty of birthday wishes on social media. Here is a look at the PGA Tour's message that has fans excited to relive some of Scheffler's epic shots. 

Scheffler’s birthday performance couldn’t come at a better time, with the final Signature Event of the season heating up. 

“The leaderboard is STACKED heading into the weekend,” the PGA Tour wrote, as stars like Rory McIlroy (-6), Jason Day (-8), and Austin Eckroat (-7) chase the top spot. Saturday’s pairings are just as thrilling, with Scheffler and Thomas teeing off together at 2:25 p.m. ET.

With such tight competition and Scheffler’s birthday energy in play, golf fans are in for a treat this weekend. The Travelers Championship is shaping up to be both a celebration and a showdown as Scheffler faces plenty of competition.
