FOOTBALL

Concord 49, Wawasee 21

Concord led Wawasee 49-6 in the third quarter of a blowout win at Elkhart’s Rice Field. Reese Breveard totaled three touchdowns while Gerrell Suggs scored twice, Bo Brunner found Derek Gomez for a score and Mark Herman also entered the end zone for the Minutemen. Johnny Zachary scored twice for Wawasee, the first on a pass to Kaden Andrew. Jaxon Brown also returned an interception for a touchdown late. Concord is now 7-1, 5-1 NLC while Wawasee falls to 1-7, 0-6 NLC.

Lakeland 17, Fairfield 6

Fairfield trailed 11-6 at halftime after kicking two field goals, but the Falcons never scored in the second half as red zone issues hurt their cause, losing to Lakeland 17-6. Fairfield is now 3-5, 0-4 NECC Big.

Northridge 49, Goshen 21

Warsaw 28, NorthWood 7

Elkhart Christian 3, Bethany Christian 0

Bethany Christian dropped to 4-20 overall with a loss to Elkhart Christian Friday. The Bruins fell 25-23, 25-8, 25-14 with the loss. Bethany Christian closes the regular season 4-20, 2-2 HPC.
