White started the game at running back and carried the ball six times for 28 yards before leaving the game in the first quarter. The severity of White's injury is unclear. Given it is only the first preseason game, the Bucs may be cautious with White even if he were able to return.
Running back Sean Tucker came into the game in relief of White and carried the ball six times for 32 yards and a touchdown on the same drive.
The Bucs are without Bucky Irving on Saturday due to rest, and now being without White will make the group that much thinner. Look for the former Syracuse star to get the bulk of the work out of the backfield the rest of the night.
