Real Madrid consider bringing another youngster back to the club this summer
The brass at La Liga giants Real Madrid are weighing up a swift return for a former member of the club’s defensive ranks.
The player in question? Jacobo Ramón.
Youngster Jacobo for his part brought a close to his stint in Spain’s capital last summer, following ex-teammate Nico Paz to Italy with Como.
Like Paz, though, the stopper could reportedly be set for a reunion with his previous employers over the months ahead.
Real Madrid are currently reassessing their options at the heart of defence, following the latest long-term injury suffered by Éder Militão.
And this shift in plans behind the scenes at the Bernabéu could well give rise to a swift comeback for Jacobo with a view to the 2026/27 campaign.
As per a report from Marca:
‘The return of Jacobo Ramón could be accelerated as a way to secure an immediate reinforcement before the summer.’
Real Madrid maintain a buyback option on the 21-year-old, who has enjoyed an impressive season to date in Serie A.
