Report: Colts' QB Anthony Richardson 'plans' to practice Saturday after injury

The Indianapolis Colts will be back on the practice field Saturday for the first time since their preseason game against Baltimore, and according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Anthony Richardson "plans to practice."

This news comes after ESPN's Stephen Holder reported on Friday that Richardson was trending upward and that his X-rays came back negative.

Richardson sustained a dislocated pinkie finger on the Colts' second possession of the game after taking a hard hit on a sack from a blitzing Ravens' defender.

After the game, Richardson discussed what he saw on that play.

The plan going into Thursday's game was for Richardson to play a quarter and a half with Daniel Jones then finishing out the first half. However, Jones would end up playing 31 snaps against Baltimore.

Shane Steichen said he would look into Richardson starting against Green Bay--which was supposed to be the game Jones started--to ensure he gets the same reps that Jones did.

While it sounds like Richardson will be practicing Saturday, we have to wait and see if he's a full participant or if he's limited at all.
