Saints to host Arizona State WR Jordyn Tyson on top 30 visit

Here's another wide receiver prospect visiting the New Orleans Saints before the 2026 NFL Draft. Arizona State wideout Jordyn Tyson will be one of the Saints' 30 pre-draft visits, per NewOrleans.Football's Nick Underhill, presenting big-time playmaking ability for a team that needs more pass catchers. Tyson led the Colorado Buffaloes in receiving as a freshman in 2022 but transferred after Deion Sanders took over as head coach. He went on to earn first team All-Big 12 recognition in each of his last two years at Arizona State. He's the third receiver projected to go top-10 who will have visited the Saints in New Orleans, along with Carnell Tate (Ohio State) and Makai Lemon (USC).

And Tyson could be in play for the eighth overall pick -- if his medicals check out. Tyson's injury history has made him one of the most divisive wide receiver prospects in this draft class. He missed three games last season with a hamstring issue, and a broken collarbone sidelined him late in 2024. A complicated knee injury cut his freshman year short and kept him out of action for the entire 2023 season. All told, Tyson has missed 34% of his teams' games due to injuries at the college level.

So this visit with the Saints will be huge for him. If team doctors come back with good answers on those injury questions, Tyson could very well be the first receiver off the board. His production speaks for itself as one of three FBS players with at least 1,800 receiving yards and 18 touchdown catches over the last two years. You just have to wonder about his durability. Tyson visiting the Saints a week before his individual pro day on April 17 also feels noteworthy. This is one to watch.
