Seahawks to appear on HBO's Hard Knocks for first time ever this summer
The Seattle Seahawks are Super Bowl LX champions and are forging a new way forward that teams around the league are going to want to emulate. Now, those teams and their fans will get a first-hand look at what makes the Seahawks so special. On Monday evening, it was announced the HBO show Hard Knocks will be coming to the Pacific Northwest for training camp this summer.
For the first time in franchise history, the Seahawks will be on Hard Knocks. This is the first time since the Baltimore Ravens kicked off the inaugural season in 2001 that a reigning Super Bowl champion will be featured in this spotlight.
Announced tonight in a general session at the NFL Annual Meeting, per sources:

Seattle, under the leadership of general manger John Schneider (and former head coach Pete Carroll) has historically been resistant to appearing on Hard Knocks. In fact, they even outright said "no" to it back in 2013, with Schneider stating he does not want to bring attention to the team. To him, the show is more of a distraction.
Well, the Seahawks' luck at avoiding Hard Knocks has run out. The nation will get an inside look at the reigning champs as they get ready to defend their second title in team history.
