Spartans starting kicker transfers to Big 12 school
A Michigan State football transfer specialist has found his new home.
Spartans starting kicker Martin Connington announced on Friday that he'll be transferring to Kansas. Connington made the transfer portal commitment to Kansas official by posting on his social media X account on Friday morning.
Connington was the Spartans primary starting kicker this past season, which was his first at Michigan State. He made 27 of 28 extra point attempts and 12 of 16 field goal attempts this year, with his longest field goal being from 50 yards out.
Connington will have three years of eligibility remaining.
