Stanford TE Sam Roush slated to attend Titans local pro day

It is becoming clear that the Tennessee Titans are leaning toward adding to their tight end group during the draft, and are visiting with multiple over the course of the pre-draft process.

While Tennessee has Top 30 visits with athletic receiver tight ends in Eli Stowers and Justin Joly on their schedule, they also have interest in one of the more well-rounded tight end prospects in this class: Stanford tight end Sam Roush.

Multiple reports on social media have revealed that Roush will be one of the attendees at the Titans' local pro day, and as a likely Day 2 prospect, he may be the highest-rated prospect to attend the facility on Friday, April 10.

Roush is somewhat of an outlier in this draft, as a traditional in-line blocking tight end with the hands and size (6-foot-6, 267 pounds) to be a significant red-zone threat. A solid prospect, he is more advanced as a run blocker at this stage of his career, but has flashed enough potential to be an enticing mid-round target.

The Titans have invested in the tight end room by signing Daniel Bellinger and Kylen Granson to join Gunnar Helm, Joel Wilson, and David Martin-Robinson on the roster, but could look to add another dynamic receiving threat at the position after saying goodbye to Chig Okonkwo, and Roush could fill that role.
