Steelers 2025 training camp preview: Offensive line

Last season, the Pittsburgh Steelers added two new starters on the offensive line due to injury and ended up finding two exceptional young linemen in center Zach Frazier and guard Mason McCormick. The Steelers were also supposed to add offensive tackle Troy Fautanu as a third rookie but a knee injury ended his rookie season before it started.

Steelers training camp is just two weeks away and this team is going to lean heavily on a very young group of starters but there are serious concerns about the depth. Let's take a look at the starters and the key backups.

Starting lineup

Pittsburgh will start Broderick Jones at left tackle, Fautanu at right tackle, Isaac Seumalo at left guard, and McCormick at right guard with Frazier as the anchor at center. If this young group lives up to the hype, it could be one of the best groups in the AFC. The key will be if Jones makes a successful switch to the left and Fautanu is able to have the season we expected the previous season. These spots are locked in.

Spencer Anderson

The best interior offensive lineman the Steelers have who isn't a starter. We expect him to be the team's primary reserve at center and both tackle spots.

Dylan Cook

Cook is the team's current backup to Jones at left tackle. Cook has no starting experience and is almost a complete unkown but might be the team's best backup offensive tackle.

Calvin Anderson

Anderson re-signed with the team and is the most experienced backup offensive tackle with 14 career starts. Anderson and Cook will be battling all through training camp to see how the depth chart shakes out.

Ryan McCollum

McCollum is the team's only true backup center and should make the roster based on that alone. McCollum only has three career starts but is a nice player if he is needed for some fill in snaps.
