The Boston Celtics are expected to make some big trades this coming NBA offseason

The Boston Celtics are reportedly expected to make some big trades this coming NBA offseason. And when one looks at their cap sheet in light of the second apron penalties of the new collective bargaining agreement (CBA), such a report (from ESPN senior reporter Shams Charania) makes all the sense in the world.

As they are currently constructed, the Celtics have one of the most expensive rosters ever assembled in any sport when factoring in the repeater tax on top of team payroll. So it should stand to reason that Boston will look to shrink the impact of that cap hit, while still trying to keep the ball club competitive with Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown at the peak of their powers.

The folks behind the "Basketball Bulletin" YouTube channel put together a clip to talk it over on a recent episode of their show. Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say about what the Celtics might do to their roster this summer.
