This 3-round mock draft is a dream scenario for Broncos
The Athletic's Nick Baumgardner recently published a three-round NFL mock draft that would be an absolute dream scenario for the Denver Broncos.
In the first round of the mock, the Broncos land Ohio State wide receiver Emeka Egbuka at pick No. 20.
"One of my favorite players in this class, Egbuka is this year’s version of Amon-Ra St. Brown — a fearless competitor who was a difference-maker from Day 1 inside one of the country’s best programs," Baumgardner wrote for The Athletic. "As far as I’m concerned, he’d qualify as the 'Joker' weapon Sean Payton wants."
Denver follows that up with another Buckeye in the second round, adding running back TreVeyon Henderson at pick No. 51. Landing him in the second round would be a huge win for the Broncos given that Henderson's stock seems to be rising.
To wrap up the mock draft at pick No. 85, Denver selects Oregon tight end Terrance Ferguson, a Colorado native who played with quarterback Bo Nix in college. NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah recently said he believes Ferguson will be a second-round pick, so the Broncos getting him in the third would be a dream.
