Villarreal break transfer record on Chelsea defender

Chelsea defender Renato Veiga has sealed a permanent switch to Villarreal.
Veiga made 18 appearances for the current world champions last season before spending the remainder of the campaign on loan with Serie A giants Juventus.
The Portugal international moved to Stamford Bridge from Basel last summer but is now set to ply his trade in LaLiga, joining Marcelíno's side in a reported £25m deal.
He becomes the eighth high-profile departure from the Blues alongside the likes of João Félix, Noni Madueke and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
