Vinnie Pasquantino has 3-word message after helping Team USA advance in WBC
The USA baseball team advanced to the World Baseball Classic quarterfinals after Italy defeated Mexico 9-1. Italy first baseman Vinnie Pasquantino, who hit three home runs, had this to say after the win:
Pasquantino achieved the first three-home-run game in World Baseball Classic history, and it came at the right time for the USA. Mexico was jostling to keep the second-best record in Pool B, which would’ve earned them a trip to the quarterfinals.
All that Mexico had to do was win against Italy. Unfortunately, Vinnie Pasquantino had a lot to say at bat. He hit a solo home run in the top of the second, another solo shot in the top of the sixth, and a two-run bomb in the top of the eighth.

Meanwhile, Italy finishes with a 4-0 record and the top record in Pool A (Houston). They face Puerto Rico, the No. 2 team in Pool A. They will play their matchup the next day, on Saturday, March 14 at 3 p.m. ET in Daikin Park.
