While the spotlight often gravitates to high school athletes entering a new school year, Wilmington-area cheerleaders are also putting in the work.
A staple of Friday night football games and basketball rivalries, cheerleaders show up to support their teams no matter what. From creative chants to new dances, high school cheerleaders undoubtedly shape the environment of every high school sporting event.
Now, for the first time, Wilmington-area fans can vote for the area's best high school cheerleading program. This poll includes each of the area's 13 high schools and will close at 11:59 p.m. on Aug. 18, 2025.
Results in this poll are determined solely by fans. Vote as many times as they like below.
