WATCH: Jaguars' Brian Thomas Jr. scores first receiving touchdown of season
Despite recording the most targets on the team (38), and 16 receptions for 244 receiving yards entering Week 6, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. had yet to find the endzone through the air his first five outings of 2025.
That is, until now.
Thomas Jr. scored his first receiving touchdown of the season - a 21-yard reception - to take a 6-0 lead over the Seattle Seahawks with just over a minute remaining in the first quarter.

Through the first 15 minutes of play against Seattle, Thomas Jr has recorded three receptions for 47 yards, leading Jacksonville in both receptions and receiving yards. He has caught every pass intended for him and is continuing to trend upwards after a shaky first three weeks of the 2025 season.
The second-year receiver caught 10 touchdowns as a rookie in 2024, and finished the season with 87 receptions on 133 targets, and recorded 1,282 receiving yards.
The Jaguars lead 6-0 at the end of the first quarter.
