Whew! The Wolfpack Beats Pitt 98-88
Even though NC State drew the lowest seed, Pitt, it still was not an easy game. Neither team played defense well in the first half with both teams over 50 points, the halftime score was 51-50 Wolfpack. Pitt equaled their season average 3PT made in the first half.
The Pack came out of halftime hot and pushed the lead to 63-52 before the Panthers hit their first field goal. The Pack maintained the lead and pushed it as high as 15. As is the norm, an opposing player hit his career high, Cameron Corhen had 27 points.
