LIVIGNO, Italy — At age 17, Elizabeth Lemley earned her pilot’s license. At 20, she flew to Olympic gold.

In a pretty sizable upset Wednesday, Lemley had the run of her young career in the moguls final to claim the gold medal with a score of 82.30.

Team USA went 1-2, with Jaelin Kauf claiming silver just like she did in Beijing four years ago.

Australia’s Jakara Anthony, the defending gold medalist, was the heavy favorite coming into the event but made a mistake early in her final run and did not hit the podium.
