They set the NBA record for regular-season wins with a 73-9 record, breaking the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls' mark of 72-10. Stephen Curry won his second consecutive MVP award that year, becoming the first unanimous MVP in league history.
Fast forward a decade, and the Warriors have exited the NBA season in the play-in. The Phoenix Suns defeated Golden State 111-94 in the final play-in game, claiming the 8th seed in the West and eliminating the Warriors.
