There is one game left in Week 14 of the 2025 NFL season. The Philadelphia Eagles will hit the road and travel across the country to take on the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Eagles head into the game with an 8-4 record, sitting in second place in the NFC East. The Dallas Cowboys lost to the Detroit Lions earlier in the week, giving Philadelphia some leeway in this game. If Philadelphia wins or loses, it will remain a top-four seed in the NFC playoff picture, and the only question will be how many games up on Dallas the Eagles will be in the division.

The Chargers go into the game with an 8-4 record. Los Angeles is sitting in second in the AFC West, sandwiched between the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chargers head into the game as the No. 6 seed in the AFC playoff picture, barely holding onto one of the three coveted wild-card spots. The biggest storyline for Los Angeles is whether or not Justin Herbert will be available as the quarterback had surgery on his non-throwing hand earlier in the week.

All times ET.
8:47 p.m. -- Herbert had a defender draped all over him, but still got the pass off to Hampton for a gain of seven. The running back lost four yards on the next play setting up third and seven. After a false start, the Eagles jumped offsides negating a Herbert interception.
Herbert had an incomplete pass on third down and the Chargers punted.
FIELD GOAL -- Chargers 7, Eagles 3
8:38 p.m. -- Barkley started the drive with back-to-back runs totaling 29 yards between them. After a penalty and an incompletion, Barkley picked up eight yards before Goedert was again Hurt's saving grace and came down with a 13-yard pass.
Hurts was forced to scramble twice for a total of one yard and then he hit DeVonta Smith for a gain of only one. Jake Elliott nailed the 41-yard field foal to get Philly on the board.
TOUCHDOWN -- Chargers 7, Eagles 0
8:28 p.m. -- Herbert took his first snap from the shotgun. He had an incomplete pass on second down. Herbert then found Vidal on a check-down, and the running back found space and picked up 60 yards.

8:20 p.m. -- The Chargers won the toss and elected to defer, so the Eagles will start with the ball. Hurts had all day to throw on the first play of the game, and he aired it out for AJ Brown, but the QB barely overthrew him and he couldn't bring it in. Philadelphia got a fresh set of downs thanks to a nine-yard reception by Dallas Goedert.
Philadelphia couldn't do anything with its second set of downs as Hurts was sacked for a loss of nine on third down. The Eagles punted and Herbert will debut his glove on his non-throwing hand.

6:15 p.m. -- Despite this game being between teams from different conferences, the result will still impact the overall playoff race heading into Week 15.
No matter if the Eagles win or lose, they will remain the No. 3 seed in the playoffs and atop the NFC East. A loss, though, will keep the gap between Philadelphia and the Dallas Cowboys at only two games.
If the Chargers win, they will overtake the Buffalo Bills for the No. 5 seed in the AFC playoff picture and will trail the division-leading Denver Broncos by only two games. If the Chargers lose, they will enter a three-way tie at 8-5 with the Houston Texans and the Indianapolis Colts. Based on NFL tiebreakers, Los Angeles would fall out of the playoff picture and be the No. 8 seed.
6:00 p.m. -- There are several storylines heading into this game for the Chargers' offense. We are about 45 minutes from learning Justin Herbert's official game status, and the backfield will already be getting a boost.
Ahead of the game, running backs Omarion Hampton and Hasaan Haskins have been activated from injured reserve. Hampton, Los Angeles' first round pick in 2025, hasn't played since Week 5.
