Former Fishers star, Notre Dame freshman Jalen Haralson plans to enter portal
According to a report, Jalen Haralson plans to enter the transfer portal.
The former Fishers and LaLumiere star, a McDonald’s All-American as a senior in high school, averaged 16.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists as a freshman at Notre Dame this season. The 6-7 Haralson, rated as a top-20 prospect in the country, was one of the biggest recruits in Notre Dame history when he committed to coach Micah Shrewsberry over Indiana and Michigan State in the fall of 2024.
Haralson’s intention to put his name in the portal, which officially opens on April 7, was reported by Joe Tipton of On3.

Haralson made a big splash as a high school freshman at Fishers, then averaged 23.1 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.9 assists as a sophomore for the Tigers. He transferred to LaLumiere for his junior and senior seasons.
Haralson is the fourth Notre Dame player to announce their plan to enter the portal, joining sophomores Garrett Sundra and Sir Mohammed and freshman Ryder Frost.
