The Rainbow Warriors (5-2, 2-1 ) take on Colorado State (2-4, 1-1 ) at Canvas Stadium in Fort Collins, Colo.

For this week’s practices in preparation for Fort Collins’ 5, 003-foot elevation, safeties coach Nick Locher added the peanut-punch motions to the push-ups. The peanut punch is a technique to jab the football free from an opposing ballcarrier.

The Warriors, who arrived in Fort Collins late Thursday, practiced for 90 minutes at Rocky Mountain High on Friday afternoon. The workout ended with the players running a series of 50-yard sprints to maintain stamina in the thin air.

Hawaii has won three of the last four in the series. Timmy Chang is 3-16 in his career on the road, including a win over Air Force three weeks ago.
