Throughout the offseason, SB Nation will host surveys for NFL fans, sponsored by the folks over at FanDuel Sportsbook. For Pride of Detroit, we are tasked with fielding questions from Detroit Lions fans, and with the majority of free agency in the books, it’s a good time to check in once again.

The Lions roster is now up to 66 players, and if they keep all nine of their draft picks, that would bring them to 75. On average, the Lions sign anywhere from 12 to 17 undrafted free agents (UDFAs) following the draft, and that means, for all intents and purposes, they’re either at the end of their free agency additions or extremely close to wrapping things up.

And that brings us to this week’s SB Nation Reacts survey question:

What grade do you give the Lions for their actions in free agency?

For a quick recap, let’s take a look at the players the Lions have lost in free agency and the players whom they signed to replace them:

(Note: not every transaction is a one-for-one move; this is more of a generalization for easier comparison.)

  • QB Kyle Allen (was replaced by) —> QB Teddy Bridgewater
  • RB David Montgomery —> RB Isiah Pacheco
  • WR Kalif Raymond —> WR Greg Dortch
  • No former TEs have signed in FA —> TE Tyler Conklin
  • LT Taylor Decker —> RT Larry Borom
  • C/G Graham Glasgow —> C Cade Mays and IOL Juice Scruggs
  • DT Roy Lopez —> None
  • EDGE Al-Quadin Muhammad —> EDGE DJ Wonnum
  • EDGE Tyrus Wheat — EDGE Payton Turner
  • LB Alex Anzalone —> None
  • LB Grant Stuard —> LB Damone Clark
  • CB Amik Robertson —> NB Roger McCreaty
  • S Daniel Thomas —> DB Christian Izien

While there are some clear downgrades at certain positions, there are a few upgrades as well. And we have yet to see what general manager Brad Holmes does in the draft. But this survey question is about how the Lions have done so far. Have they set themselves up well for the NFL Draft? Or have they put themselves in a spot where they’ll be forced to draft a position they did not fully address in free agency?

Alright, now it’s time for you to weigh in. Please vote in the survey below, share your feedback in the comments, and check back later this week for the resultsPlease take our survey
